Munther A. Dahleh
Munther A. Dahleh leads a research group that focuses on Decisions Under Uncertainty. He is interested in Networked Systems with applications to Social and Economic Networks, financial networks, Transportation Networks, Neural Networks, and the Power Grid. He is also interested in learning high dimensional unstructured stochastic dynamic systems from finite data. His recent work focused on understanding the economics of data as well as deriving a foundational theory for data markets. He is a fellow of IEEE and IFAC. Munther A. Dahleh received his Ph.D. degree from Rice University, Houston, TX, in 1987 in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Since then, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), MIT, Cambridge, MA, where he is now the William A. Coolidge Professor of EECS. He is also a faculty affiliate of the Sloan School of Management. He is the founding director of the MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS).
Nadia Fassi Fehri
Nadia Fassi Fehri is a member of the strategic committee of OCP Group, the Moroccan world leader in phosphates. As Chief Transformation Officer, Ms. Fassi Fehri leads the group's strategic digital transformation. In particular, she directs initiatives for the implementation of digital technologies for the growth and diversification of the OCP group's activities, and for maintaining the group leadership in its historical segments. Between 2015 and 2020, she became the first woman to run a telecommunications operator in Morocco; Inwi. During her management, she led the digital transformation of the operator and restores its economic growth with the development of different segments in the strategic sectors of cloud, cybersecurity, and mobile payment. Ms. Nadia Fassi-Fehri was entrusted from 2006 to 2008 with the management of human resources, communication and support of the Moroccan holding company ONA. In 2005, Ms. Fassi Fehri was appointed as the general manager of Nareva, a subsidiary of the ONA group specializing in the energy and the environment. Ms. Fassi Fehri also exerted her expertise at the Managem Group, from 1996 to 2005 as the director of engineering and development. During her tenure, she led the launch of the first gold mine in Morocco. Nadia Fassi-Fehri is a graduate of the ‘École Polytechnique’ (1990) and the ‘École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées’ (2015), as well as the University of Paris VII-Jussieu in financial mathematics. In 2005, she obtained the Executive MBA diploma from ESCP-EAP.
Soulaymane Kachani
Soulaymane Kachani is Vice-Rector of Columbia University in New York where he coordinates the academic programs of Columbia University's 16 faculties. He is responsible for the development and implementation of teaching and learning strategies, innovation, and online education. He remains, since 2011, Senior Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Columbia, where he is also professor of industrial engineering and operational research. In 2006, M. Kachani served as vice president, and in 2007 as president of the Revenue Management & Pricing Association of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, before joining its board of directors. From 2007 to 2011, he served as Chairman of the Demand Optimization Council. From 2003 to 2016, Kachani was the strategic director of Strategic Capital Allocation Group, a multi-billion USD investment fund based in Boston. Between 2007 and 2011, Kachani served as Chief Executive Officer of ReOptima, a consulting firm specializing in the valuation and pricing of real estate assets in the United States, with a focus on Florida and New York. Between 2005 and 2007, he also served as Chief Scientist at Vendavo, the world leader in business-to-business pricing management and optimization. Soulaymane Kachani received his doctorate (Ph.D) in operations research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also obtained a Master of Science in operational research from MIT and an engineering degree from École centrale Paris (1999). He completed Global Leadership and Public Policy in the 21st Century training at Harvard Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and Transformational Leadership: Leadership at the Edge training at Oxford University.
Aminata NDIAYE
Aminata NDIAYE is the Senior Vice president of Marketing, Digital and Customer Experience of Orange Middle East & Africa coordinating 18 countries representing 135 million customers and more than 5 billion euros of revenues. She drives the digital transformation within this footprint and has launched 2 Data Squads in Jordan and Ivory Coast empowering local talents and helping country teams develop new solutions based on data and AI. In 2020, she has been nominated to the Supervisory board of Jumia Technologies AG, the leading pan-African e-commerce platform listed at the New York Stock Exchange and operating in 11 countries in Africa. She has held several leadership roles within Sonatel (ranked 4th entity of the Orange Group in terms of revenues). In 2017, she launched the new organization that will lead the digital transformation of the Sonatel group. In 2013, she was appointed to the Executive Committee of Sonatel as Chief Marketing Officer driving 60% of the company’s revenues. She was also a board member of several affiliates of the same group which footprint covers 5 countries (Senegal, Mali, Conakry Guinea, Bissau Guinea, Sierra Leone) weighing 1,5 billion euros of annual revenues with a 44% of Ebitda margin. In 2015, she is given the challenge to straighten the Orange Money line of business together with her Chief Marketing Officer position. She then launches the new Orange Money Division (sales, marketing, operations and compliance) with outstanding performance delivered. Aminata NDIAYE is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Paris.
