The #ICBDAIA’23 international conference took place in the beautiful city of #Laâyoune on November 4 and 5 . It was a valuable opportunity to discuss, with national and international experts, various topics related to #AI and #Data #Sciences.
Our executive president Prof. Amal EL FALLAH – SEGHROUCHNI gave a keynote entitled “Artificial Intelligence, a lever for African Continent’s development”.
Her talk pleads for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and Data Science in our continent, to take benefit from the opportunity to leapfrog traditional stages of development for #africa . She gave an overview of the main R&D activities within Ai Movement, the International AI Center of UM6P – Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. She also presented the close partnership with #UNESCO, through the launching of major initiatives to strengthen AI capacities at the continental level.
Prof. Amal EL FALLAH – SEGHROUCHNI was awarded a recognition award by the President of LAAYOUNE Sakia El Hamra, M. Hamid Ould Errachid.
